Sultanahmet Mosque | Travel

Sultanahmet Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque, was built in the 1609. Today it dominates the Istanbul skyline, with its multiple domes and tall minarets.  As I began taking shots inside the walls, I noticed the incredible minute details and symmetry of the architecture.  Sitting with my feet casually rested on huge slabs of marble, it took a while before I noticed the complexity of the detail and care that had gone into every facet of the Mosque.
